State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Glenn Lavern Sullivan, 49, of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Sale of Cocaine. Sullivan now faces a maximum of 30 years as a Habitual Felony Offender in Florida State Prison. A sentencing hearing is scheduled before the Honorable Linda McCallum the week of May 20, 2019.

On Aug. 2, 2018, the Defendant was standing outside a Philips Highway gas station when he was approached by an undercover narcotics detective. The detective asked Sullivan for $20 worth of crack cocaine. Sullivan revealed a baggie of crack cocaine and sold the undercover detective a crack rock for $20 of investigative funds. The entire transaction was captured on video and audio surveillance by the detective.
The case was investigated by Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and was prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Brooke Gasson and Cameron French.
