State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Salvador Glenn, of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Battery and sentenced by the Honorable Mark Borello to 10 months in Duval County Jail.

On Aug. 8, 2019, law enforcement was called to UF Health Jacksonville in response to a battery that occurred. The victim, a medical emergency worker, said she was tending to Glenn, a patient, who had been restrained after becoming combative while under the influence of drugs. While restrained, he spit in the victim’s face.

The case was investigated by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Brittany Johnson and Garrett Hill
