State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that a Duval County grand jury has returned indictments charging four defendants with First-Degree Murder.

The grand jury returned First-Degree Murder charges for:

• Antonious Lamar Burney Jr., S.A. No. 19CF065034AD: Burney Jr. is charged with First-Degree Murder. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Lauren Anderson.

• Christopher Lee Thompson, S.A. No. 22CF008934AD: Thompson is charged with First-Degree Murder. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Christina Stifler.

• Daishawn Antonio Brown, S.A. No. 22CF034297AD: Brown is charged with First-Degree Murder, Attempted Armed Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm by a Juvenile Delinquent Found to have Committed a Felony Act. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Tom Mangan.

• Nathan Randall George, S.A. No. 23CF065810AD: George is charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Alan Mizrahi.
