State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that a Duval County jury found Vincent Drew-Clark guilty of Grand Theft Auto. With the verdict, Drew-Clark faces up to five years in Florida State Prison. He was on probation at the time of his arrest and faces additional time in prison for Violation of Probation on four other cases. The Honorable Anthony Salem will sentence Drew-Clark at a later date.

On Jan. 15, 2024, the victim pulled into a Jammes Road parking lot. Drew-Clark and his two brothers approached the car with guns and demanded the victim and passenger to get out. The brothers stole the car and drove off. Officers were on the lookout for the vehicle and spotted the car. An officer turned on their emergency lights and the brothers sped off and eventually bailed out of the car on Flopsy Lane. The car crashed into a pole and officers ran after the three, ultimately arresting all three.

Co-defendants Stephen Drew-Clark and Ce’vin Drew-Clark previously pleaded guilty to Carjacking with a Firearm on Jan. 28, 2025. They will be sentenced at a later date.

The case was investigated by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Emily Jones and Paige West.
