Governor Ron DeSantis announced his appointment of Assistant State Attorney Randi Daugustinis to the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court bench to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Stasia Warren.
“I have dedicated my career to public service — public service is who I am,” said Daugustinis. “I am appreciative of the trust Governor DeSantis has placed in me and I look forward to continuing my service to the people of the State of Florida as a Circuit Court judge.”
Daugustinis graduated with a degree in criminology from the University of Tampa before earning her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. While in law school, she interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Fourth Circuit State Attorney’s Office, and the Law Offices of Fred Tromberg. Upon graduation, Daugustinis moved to Tampa Bay and began her career as a prosecutor in 2014 in the Tenth Judicial Circuit in Polk County. Her caseload included DUIs and felonies before being promoted to the Special Victims Unit, where she served until transferring to the Fourth Circuit in March 2020. She continued her service to vulnerable victims in the Special Victims Units in Duval and Clay counties, and has served as Division Chief of unit in Clay County since 2023.
“Randi Daugustinis has been an excellent prosecutor and valuable member of our team,” said State Attorney Melissa Nelson. “I am excited for this opportunity for her and happy to know she will continue to serve the public in this new role.”
The Seventh Judicial Circuit comprises Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia counties.
Daugustinis’ last day with the office will be Sept. 19, 2025.
