State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that a Duval County jury found Kristopher Robinson guilty of Trafficking in Fentanyl, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, and two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. With the verdict, Robinson faces up to 30 years in Florida State Prison, with a 25-year mandatory minimum. The Honorable Tatiana Salvador will sentence Robinson at a later date.

On July 23, 2024, a narcotics team with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Sun Lane, where detectives previously saw Robinson drive a car and walk inside the residence while under surveillance for drug activity. The search returned numerous items, including several firearms, drug trafficking items, a pill press, crack cocaine, over 29 grams of fentanyl, over 55 grams of methamphetamine, and ecstasy pills, among other items. A witness told detectives she had previously purchased fentanyl from Robinson and he lived in the home, sold drugs, and had firearms. Robinson was previously convicted of trafficking in a controlled substance and, as a convicted felon, was unable to lawfully possess a firearm.

The case was investigated by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Elizabeth Brown and Fabrizia Wade.
