General Public Records Requests

The State Attorney’s Office for the Fourth Judicial Circuit is committed to transparency and open government. The office makes every effort to respond to and fulfill requests in a reasonable amount of time.

Using the SAO4 online portal

You may make a public records request by using our records portal, available at GovQA.

Once you have created an account, you will be able to receive real-time updates on the status of your requests.

You may submit anonymous requests via the portal, however, if you elect to submit requests entirely anonymously (including not creating a basic account or providing an email address) you will not be able to log into the system to check on your requests.

You may also review the Office’s updated Public Records Policies and Procedures and our extensive FAQ through the portal, with or without an account.

Please note that under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do you not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to the State Attorney’s Office. Instead, contact this office by phone, using the web request form, or in writing.
