State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Paul Moore, 52, of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Sexual Battery, Lewd or Lascivious Molestation, and Showing Obscene Material to Minors. Moore now faces a mandatory sentence of life in Florida State Prison.

Moore sexually battered a minor victim between September 2015 and January 2016. Moore also would make the minor victim watch adult pornography on his cellphone. He told her not to talk about the sexual abuse because he would go to jail and the two would not see each other anymore.

The case was investigated by Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and was prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Leigh Rosenbloom and Jessica Hensley.
