State Attorney Melissa Nelson announced the return by a grand jury today of indictments charging one defendant with First-Degree Murder.

The grand jury returned First-Degree Murder charges for:

• Leroy Edwards, S.A. No. 19CF074146AD. Edwards also is charged with Attempted First-Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, and three counts of Attempted First-Degree Murder on a Law Enforcement Officer.
