In conjunction with several criminal justice partners, the State Attorney’s Office hosted its first Sealing and Expungement Fair on Wednesday evening, serving over 400 people.

In all, more than 100 people who turned out to the event at Florida State College of Jacksonville were eligible to either seal or expunge their criminal records. Others who were identified as eligible during preregistration are still able to complete their process individually.

More than 60 attorneys, investigators, and support staff of the State Attorney’s Office partnered with staff from the Duval County Clerk of Court, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Three Rivers Legal Services, the office of Johnson & Lufrano, Operation New Hope, and Florida State College at Jacksonville all supported the successful event.
