Gregor Found Guilty of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon

State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces Allison Gregor, of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon. Gregor now faces up to 15 years in Florida State Prison. The Honorable Meredith Charbula will set a sentencing hearing the week of Aug. 30, 2021.

On May 6, 2020, the victim went inside a Jacksonville Beach liquor store to make a purchase. While the victim was inside, Gregor entered his truck that was in the parking lot. When the victim left the store, he confronted Gregor, who was still in the truck. Gregor stabbed the victim during that confrontation, then entered a car and drove away. A witness saw the confrontation between the victim and Gregor; surveillance footage also captured it. The witness alerted law enforcement to where Gregor’s car was, and officers stopped it less than a mile away. Gregor was detained and later arrested. The knife she used to stab the victim was found in the car with blood on it. The jury at trial rejected Gregor’s self-defense claims.

The case was investigated by the Jacksonville Beach Police Department prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Hobbs Crockett and Korey Milo.
