State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Donald Graham Jr. was found guilty by a jury of three counts of Sexual Battery and three counts of Lewd or Lascivious Battery. Graham now faces up to 90 years in Florida State Prison if sentenced consecutively. The Honorable Adrian Soud will schedule a sentencing hearing the week of March 28, 2022.

On Oct. 7, 2018, the victim reported to their grandmother that Graham months prior had sexually assaulted them while helping Graham clean an office building afterhours. The victim, who was between 13-18 years old, said that while they were in the bathroom, Graham entered the room, removed their clothing, and forced intercourse. Graham forced intercourse a second time later when the two were in a separate bathroom. Graham in an interview with law enforcement initially denied his actions, but eventually admitted he had sex with the victim several times that evening but claimed it was consensual. Graham was arrested and charged.

The case was investigated by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and was prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Terence Martin and Kristen Liesch.
