State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that a Duval County jury found Antonio Bing guilty of Possession of Controlled Substance. With the verdict, Bing faces up to five years in Florida State Prison. The Honorable London Kite will sentence Bing at a later date.

On Dec. 8, 2023, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Street Level Narcotics unit was serving a search warrant at a home in the Grand Park neighborhood. JSO was conducting surveillance prior to SWAT’s arrival and saw Bing get into a white Ford outside of his home and leave the residence. Detectives took Bing into custody at a nearby gas station and searched him. They found an oxycodone pill, an amphetamine pill, and thousands of dollars in cash. The search warrant was then served on his house where detectives recovered oxycodone and hydrocodone pills on the kitchen counter.

The case was investigated by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Shaina Ruth and Lee Wingard.
