State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that a Duval County jury found Baller Torrealba Aguirre guilty of Aggravated Stalking and two counts of Violation of an Injunction for Protection Against Domestic Violence. With the verdict, Torrealba Aguirre faces up to 5 years in Florida State Prison. The Honorable Mark Borello will sentence Torrealba Aguirre at a later date.
The victim had obtained an Injunction for Protection against Torrealba Aguirre; it was served and active since March 5, 2025. Since then, Torrealba Aguirre continued to harass the victim by calling her dozens of times from multiple phone numbers. Torrealba Aguirre also contacted the victim multiple times using several social media platforms. Torrealba Aguirre would text the victim about the injunction and their previous relationship. On July 7, 2025, Torrealba Aguirre texted the victim a photo of her workplace and told her he was outside and wanted to talk. He also texted the victim about her child and said he knew where she lived and where she went to school.
The case was investigated by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Raquel Stokes and Kierstyn Jennings.
