State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces the return by a grand jury of an indictment charging Trumaine Devone Muller, 32, of Orange Park, with First-Degree Murder. If convicted on the count, Muller faces a mandatory sentence of Life in Florida State Prison.

State Attorney Melissa Nelson today announces that the Honorable Linda F. McCallum sentenced Anderson Lee Nieves, 35, of Jacksonville, to 40 years in Florida State Prison with a minimum mandatory of 20 years for Second-Degree Murder; 15 years in Florida State Prison for Shooting Deadly Missles; and 15 years in Florida State Prison with a minimum mandatory of 3 years for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

If convicted on all counts, Hyde faces a maximum sentence of life plus 180 years.

Davis now faces a maximum of life in Florida State Prison. A sentencing hearing is scheduled before the Honorable Angela M. Cox on April 10, 2017.
