State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that the Honorable Mark Borello sentenced Tony Gerald Ellison, 52, of Jacksonville to 30 years in Florida State Prison followed by life probation for two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation.

Ellison entered a plea on Oct. 23, 2017.

The victim was under the age of 12 years old and reported the suspect touched her private parts while the suspect watched her. The victim further stated the suspect made her touch his private parts as well. This happened more than one time, according to the victim, and occurred in both of their homes. Ellison made several incriminating statements during a police interview that corroborated the victim’s representations during the case.

The case was investigated by Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by Assistant State Attorneys Cameron French and Ashley Young.
