State Attorney Melissa Nelson today announced the return of indictments by grand juries in Clay and Duval counties charging three defendants with First-Degree Murder.

The Clay County grand jury returned First-Degree Murder indictments for:

• Corey Binderim, S.A. No. S.A. No. 20CF006563AC. Binderim also is charged with Burglary with Assault or Battery and Tampering with Evidence. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Pam Hazel.

• Cameron Kirk, S.A. No. 20CF024464AC. Kirk is also charged with Abuse of a Dead Human Body. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Ashley Terry.

The Duval County grand jury returned a First-Degree Murder indictment for:

• Darnell Johnson, S.A. No. 19CF034548AD. Johnson is also charged with Armed Burglary. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Katelyn Johnston.
