Investigation determined the victim was with a group of people and walking on Park Street. One member of the group turned back to speak with Leroy. The victim followed this individual —- a friend of the victim — as they individual spoke to Leroy. Witnesses then saw Leroy pull out a gun and shoot the victim. Leroy told police he felt threatened by the victim due to him victim having his hands in his pockets; and claimed the friend acted aggressively toward him.
