State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that the Honorable Meredith Charbula today sentenced Tyree Parker to life in Florida State Prison for the 2021 killing of Caroline Schollaert. Parker previously pleaded guilty in open court to Second-Degree Murder and Armed Burglary.

State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Marc Crump has pleaded guilty to Election False Registration/False Swearing and Election Fraud Voting. Pursuant to the plea agreement, Crump will be adjudicated guilty and is expected to be sentenced to 10 months in Duval County jail. The Honorable London Kite will impose sentence at a Jan. 4, 2023, hearing.
