The State Attorney’s Office Conviction Integrity Review now has an online home.

Launched in early 2018 and a first for Florida, the Conviction Integrity Review (CIR) is an initiative that will increase trust and confidence in the office’s work through the investigation of post-conviction innocence claims. Additionally, the review of cases will provide opportunities to improve prosecutorial practices.

The review is led by Shelley Thibodeau, who joined the office in January.

“Shelley has dedicated herself to this cause and for months has reviewed submissions that arrived before she even began,” said State Attorney Melissa Nelson. “The CIR’s online presence is the next step of community outreach for this important effort.”

Visitors can access the page by clicking here, looking under the office’s Programs and Initiatives section, or by using the Quick Link button on the office’s homepage.
