Along with its law enforcement partners, the State Attorney’s Office for the Fourth Circuit requests the public’s help to locate Cedric Griffin, who is charged with five counts of Grand Theft and has an outstanding warrant for Organized Fraud. Griffin is on the run after failing to appear in court for his final pretrial hearing on May 4 for the Grand Theft charges and did not show for his scheduled trial date on May 8.

The outstanding arrest warrant is for a separate case against Griffin for Organized Fraud in connection to a real estate scheme in which Griffin stole more than $4.5 million combined from dozens of victims. The investigation is in coordination with the U.S. Secret Service North Florida Cyber Fraud Task Force, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Bureau of Investigations, and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Please immediately report any information on Griffin’s whereabouts to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at (904) 630-0500 or CrimeStoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
