State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces the return by a grand jury of indictments charging five defendants with First-Degree Murder.

State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Mikel Gary McClusky, of Perry, was found guilty by a jury of two counts of Sexual Battery. McClusky now faces a maximum of life in Florida State Prison. A sentencing hearing is scheduled before the Honorable Linda McCallum on April 8, 2019.

State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Booker T. Oliver, of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The Honorable Linda McCallum on March 12, 2019, sentenced Oliver to 5 years in Florida State Prison.

State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Jarvis Kawane Williams, of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Robbery. The Honorable Mark Borello sentenced Williams to 15 years, the mandatory minimum as a Prison Releasee Reoffender, in Florida State Prison.

State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Jarrel Mapp, 44, of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Organized Fraud, two counts of Unlawful Filing of False Documents Against Real Property, three counts of Filing a Fraudulent Lien, and two counts of Burglary to a Dwelling. Mapp now faces a maximum of 15 years in Florida State Prison. A sentencing hearing is scheduled to be set before the Honorable Bruce Anderson.

State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Robert Lee Jr., of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Armed Robbery. The Honorable Mark Borello on Feb. 8, 2019, sentenced Lee, a Prison Releasee Reoffender, to Life in Florida State Prison.

State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Curtis Bey, of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Attempted Second-Degree Murder. On Feb. 4, 2019, he was sentenced by the Honorable Mark Borello to 25 years in Florida State Prison.

State Attorney Melissa Nelson announces that Jamal Williams, of Jacksonville, was found guilty by a jury of Attempted Second-Degree Murder, Shooting a Deadly Missile, and Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon. Williams now faces a maximum of 30 years in Florida State Prison. A sentencing hearing is scheduled before the Honorable Angela M. Cox on Feb. 19, 2019.

With the indictments, each defendant faces a sentence of mandatory life in prison, unless the State provides notice of its intent to seek the death penalty.
